RESPONSABILITATI

- To create, maintain and develop the technical demonstration environment, for defined solutions.
- To create any special proofs of concept for new features in the solution
- To run any standard maintenance operations which are required.
- To ensure that the demonstration systems are available for access according to the plan agreed with the Technical Consultant Manager
- To work closely with Solution Management and Development to understand, implement and test the technical changes or initiatives which are being planned which will affect the demonstration systems. These may be new enhancements, patches, 3rd party applications or interfaces.
- Work with representatives of PS when it is required to implement the results of specific engagements in the demo systems.
- Create specific workshop and demo environments as defined by the Solution Consultants
- To test the system in conjunction with the regional Solution Consultants to identify any errors.
- Manage the error reporting and fixing mechanism according to agreed procedures
- To suggest ways of improving the efficiency of providing demonstrations
- Provide the necessary input to any booking system procedures.


CERINTE

- University degree: Computer Science, Mathematics, Business IT (ASE)
- At least 3 years’ experience of developing, supporting or implementing complex IT environments including for example: Orbix, Tomcat, Flexlm, Intex/Adco/AFT, Swapswire, .NET, VMWare, MQ
- Very good knowledge of C, C++ and/or C#
- Able to write shell scripts and Perl script
- Familiarity working in and troubleshooting Windows environments
- Able to construct SQL queries
- Very good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Detail oriented and have the ability to handle and organize multiple complex technical issues simultaneously
- Good English knowledge
- Interest in finance
- Commitment, stability, responsibility
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills and the ability to work under tight time constraints
- Ability to multi-task between multiple activities

A Plus for candidates also possessing these skills:

- Database Administration experience in Oracle, Sybase or MS SQL or production database support
- Familiarity with the IBM iSeries environment
- Familiarity with prototyping tools
