• Work closely with Product Management, Program Management and senior development staff to help define and implement the Summit technology roadmap.
• Lead development teams in the appropriate selection and use of technical frameworks, platforms and design patterns
• Manage projects in the Summit architecture area from the requirements and specification phase through implementation and quality assurance.
• Lead or participate in design, development and testing of applications in the Summit framework. This includes writing of technical specifications and may involve hands-on development in C++, C# and/or Java.
• Participate in problem solving and maintenance of existing applications
• Provide advice and support to project team members, business centers and other application teams in areas of expertise.
• Responsible for the timely completion and delivery of projects.
- University degree: Computer Science, Mathematics, Business IT (ASE)
- At least 3 years’ experience of developing, supporting or implementing complex IT environments including for example: Orbix, Tomcat, Flexlm, Intex/Adco/AFT, Swapswire, .NET, VMWare, MQ
- Very good knowledge of C, C++ and/or C#
- Able to write shell scripts and Perl script
- Familiarity working in and troubleshooting Windows environments
- Able to construct SQL queries
- Very good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Detail oriented and have the ability to handle and organize multiple complex technical issues simultaneously
- Good English knowledge

A Plus for candidates also possessing these skills:

• Solid knowledge of Windows platforms, .NET Framework and associated applications and utilities.

• Broad knowledge of technology standards, information management, development standards, methods and emerging 3rd party software relevant to the financial industry.
• Experience with several of the following technologies:
o Knowledge of one or more relational databases (Sybase, SQLServer or Oracle)
o J2EE Application Servers particularly WebSphere, Tomcat, WebLogic
o C++ development on UNIX especially Solaris
o Microsoft Windows Forms/Windows API
o JMS and Message oriented middleware platforms such as MQSeries
o CORBA
Academic & Professional Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science
3+ years of technical architecture experience
7+ years software design and development experience
