RESPONSABILITATI

The License Management Services (LMS) Team has the responsibility to assure compliance of our customers and partners regarding their utilization and distribution of ORACLE software products. This is delivered in various programs, solutions & tools by field consultants spread among various countries.
The License Management consultants in the field are assisted & supported by the LMS Service Centre. This position provides remotely support for Oracle’s customers throughout the process of installing and running LMS technical measurement tools and performs research and analysis of usage technical data gathered from customers.


SCOPE:

- Member of LMS Service Centre team
- Reports to the LMS Service Center Team Leader
- Works towards objectives of LMS Service Centre team agreed with LMS Service Centre Manager and LMS Management Team
- Has no direct reports
- Delivery of support to customers and License Management Consultants in EMEA, North America, JAPAC and LAD, under the terms of a non-mission critical activity
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Owner of the LMS technical measurement process
Provide remote support to Oracle customers throughout the process of installing and running LMS technical measurement tools
Validate proper data collection, installation and configuration of the tools
Ensure the timely completion of technical measurement process steps
Provide support and technical consultancy for License Management consultants in the field
Research of customer licenses and contracts using corporate systems, reports & original paperwork
Perform comprehensive and accurate analysis of the collected data
Presents and explains results and findings using various reports
Acts as an expert in License Management technical tools
Development & enhancement of productivity tools to automate and support LMS technical data analysis activity
Research, develop and maintain technical LMS tools to measure customer’s Oracle usage
Maintain product expertise in assigned area of Oracle products, contributing to Knowledge Management process in LMS
Have a good understanding of Oracle technologies
Have an strong knowledge of Oracle’s business practices and licensing policies


CERINTE

Advanced experience with SQL and PL/SQL
Unix Shell scripting and MS-DOS batch programming
Advanced experience with the Unix/Linux and Windows operating system
Familiarity with Oracle Database, versions 8 and above
Good understanding of computer networks and architectures
Basic project management knowledge
Aptitude for customer focus
Solid analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong documentation and communication skills
Complex problem solving and decision making skills
Able to work both independently and in team environment
A degree in computer science or related field
1-2 years experience in the computer industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Englis
Willing to work flexitime (business work days only)

ADVANTAGES:

Experience in using and administrating one or more of the following technologies: Database administration, RAC, Application Server, E-business Suite, Application Express, Discoverer, Enterprise Manager would be an advantage
Experience in customer facing technical support activities
Experience in reporting and data analysis activities
Experience in working globally
Basic web design experience
OCP certification is a plus
Verbal and written communication skills in Spanish
