For one of our clients, a notorious multinational company specialized in the production and retail of FMCG products, we are looking for one very high potential individual to fill the role of Senior Tax Advisor.
Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited is:
- Develop Tax systems to facilitate informal management decision-making;
- Configure tax function to reflect business needs
- Oversee and coordination of the budgeting and projection process;
- Conduct (with CFO) annual tax budget planning;
- Ensure the effective management of financial operations;
- Ensure all tax transactions are accounted for in accordance with Romanian regulations.
- Ensure that all external & internal report obligations are met.
- Ensuring Corporate tax returns in Romania are filed accurately and on time and to advise the Financial Controller on aspects of tax planning that may need the usage of specialist external consultants to optimise tax charges from the Company’s perspective.
-University degree in Economics;
- Very good knowledge of Romanian tax legislation;
- Good knowledge of international accounting standards;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the taxation area;
- Excellent communication and analytical skills;
- Ability to originate innovative, constructive and valid solutions;
- Concern for order and quality;
- Flexibility in a highly demanding environment;
- Good command of English and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Proficiency in SUN system or SAP is an asset.
