-Provide expert level telephone and email support to Ixia customers located worldwide
-Assist customers with operation and configuration of Ixia hardware and software, with an emphasis on routing protocols
-Accurately log, track and maintain customer service requests
-Achieve customer satisfaction and support metric goals
-Effectively work and communicate with a U.S. based support team while working a late shift

Cerinte

-BS or MS in Computer/Electrical Engineering with focus on Internet/Networking/Wireless domain(or CCIE). Extensive IP networking background
-5+ years experience with routing protocols
-Hands on experience on testing different layer 2-7 technologies ranging from subscriber access, to routing, load balancing, security and general IP forwarding in IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
-Proven in-depth hands on experience with TCP/IP , L2 and L3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP IV, MPLS, MPLS VPNs, VPLS, PPP, L2TP, GRE, IPSec etc.
-Industry experience with proven working knowledge in Ethernet, POS, ATM, PPP, HDLC and MPLS.
-Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
-Highly organized and detail oriented
-Ability to coordinate with teams in offshore locations
-Self sufficientself starter who can work with little or no direction
-Prior Customer Support Experience
Desirable:
-CCIE
-Expertise in Internet Security technologies -IPSec/L2TP/PPP
-Experience on configuration of firewalls, ACL s, access and tunneling protocols on Cisco, Juniper and other Vendors routers.
-UnixLinux experience
-Knowledge of TCL, C, C++ or other programming language
-Oracle experience is a plus.
