• The coordination of the structural design with the Internal & External Clients and/ or the Client’s Structural Consultant;
• Detailed structural design if design and build contract;
• Production and coordinating of shop drawings (sometimes with external partners);
• Civil Works
• Steel structures.
• Structural engineering calculations.
• Structural engineering plans, design, and layout.
• Structural project specifications.
• Structural engineering parts of project proposals.
• Structural engineering parts of project cost estimates.
• Perform structural design and analysis calculations.
• Layout and details portions of projects.
• Provide drawing for own designs.
• Research design options.
• Review shop drawings.
• Develop probable construction cost estimates for his/her projects within the department.
• May direct and supervise other Designers (project-based).
• Coordinate work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.
• Handle routine contract administration.
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
• Attend and participate in meetings.
• Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area.
• Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents.
• Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a dynamic environment.
• You have a degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture and at least 10 years of relevant working experience out of which 8 as Structural Design Engineer;
• You have worked on complex building works before (Office Buildings, Shopping Malls, Hospitals, etc);
• You identify with our core competencies by possessing an entrepreneurial mind, showing flexibility, being innovative and result-oriented while promoting teamwork;
• You equally possess excellent communication skills, an analytical mind and you are client focused;
• AutoCAD.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
• You are fluent in English (speech and writing). Additional languages are an asset;
