Develop, test and implement databases including all supporting database objects.
Architect/design database schema
Participate in full system development lifecycle
Perform day-to-day database administration tasks
Install and manage database servers
Troubleshoot and manage database issues
Design, implement and manage data warehouse systems
Develop technical plans for migration plans to SQL Server 2005.
Solid knowledge in relational database design, using MS SQL Server 2000/2005
Very good knowledge of SQL, T-SQL programming (PL/SQL will be a plus)
Very good knowledge in MS SQL Server 2000 database server platform (DTS, database capacity planning, administration, SQL Server Agent, high availability systems)
Ability to analyze data, identify/define business rules and implement logic in data layer
Experienced with XML technology and Web Services
Solid knowledge about Windows 2000 and 2003 Servers
Basic knowledge of TCP, HTTP protocols and networking basics
Minimum 3 years experience on MS SQL Server 2000
Will be a plus: Visual Basic, C#, C++ (ODBC, OLEDB, DB-Library), VBScript, PL/SQL, knowledge about Oracle 9i or mySQL
