Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- System administration and troubleshooting on RedHat Linux or a Linux distribution
- Exposure to working in large datacenter environment
Backups and Recovery
- Address Tickets within SLAs
- Vendor Coordination
Very Strong skills on System administration and troubleshooting on RedHat Linux
- Working Experience on Solaris/HPUX/AIX
- Strong Skills on Veritas Volume Manager and Cluster (configuration/troubleshooting)
- Backups and Recovery
- NIS / NFS
- Hardware HP /Dell product knowledge:
- Exposure to Storage (espl. EMC)
- Very Strong communication skills
- Exposure to working in large datacenter environment
