Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- System administration and troubleshooting on HPUX / Solaris/ AIX / Linux
- Troubleshoot all Hardware failures
- HPUX Administration
- Veritas Backup and Restoration
- Exposure to working in large datacenter environment
- Address Tickets within SLAs
- Vendor Coordination
-High-level computer skills;
-Very Strong skills on System administration and troubleshooting on HPUX;
-Working Experience on Solaris/ AIX / Linux;
-Strong Skills on HP ¿ Service Guard;
-Strong Skills on LVM/File Systems skills;
-Good knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager and Cluster (configuration/troubleshooting);
-Backups and Recovery;
-NIS / NFS;
-Hardware HP product knowledge;
-Exposure to Storage (especially EMC);
-Exposure to working in large datacenter environment;
-Address Tickets with in SLAs;
-Vendor Coordination;
-Very Strong communication skills.
