Maintenance and configuration of firewalls, switches, IPS, IDS, routers
Works with network management and monitoring systems
Security lab fixed and virtual assets design for different LAN / WAN architectures
Use testing tools as NetBIOS scanning, network pinging and testing, packet crafting and analyzing, port scanning for vulnerability assessment
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or associated discipline or equivalent work experience
minimum 3 years of network administration experience
- Experience with anti-virus techniques, network security, vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection and prevention
- Ability to provide security analysis and solutions in a WAN/LAN environment (knowledge of operating vulnerability assessment tools e.g. Retina, Nessus, HBSS, etc. - is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system problems.
- Experience in implementing / developing security policies and technical documentation
- CCNA (or equivalent) is a must
- CEH, CISSP or CISM is a plus but optional (or other security related certifications)
