Position Summary

As a Senior Sales Manager you will report to the Business Catalyst Segment Owner and be directly responsible for developing and maintaining a sales strategy to sustain our high double digit Business Catalyst growth. You will have to win and expand relationships with our thousand plus partner network, being in charge with product pricing and commission structure.
Responsibilities:

* You will define and implement our sales strategy, expanding the service into multiple geographies, increasing the number of partners, improving the pricing model and introducing new products.
* You will drive the acquisition of new qualifying partners, establish, develop and maintain strong professional sales relationships with current and future partners. You will assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on an ongoing basis, drive adoption of company programs among assigned partners as well as certifications and specializations.
* You will be the internal advocate for the partners, coordinating the involvement of Business Catalyst staff, including support, engineering, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
* You will proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. This will include training the partners and measuring their performance.
* You will recruit, lead, motivate and develop the Business Catalyst sales team, make sure that your sales reps meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
* You will keep current with Business Catalyst product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, applications, competition and disseminate to partners as appropriate.
* You will manage the sales and partner pipeline and forecasts and submit forecast weekly to management, ensuring to maintain monthly forecast accuracy.


CERINTE

* Bachelor degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field. MBA is a big plus.
* 7+ years experience, including 5 years of related partner or partner facing experience, such as working with resellers (VARs).
* Proven record of achieving revenue quota of $5+ million, working with resellers. Ability to meet and exceed quotas while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Successful track record of managing a sales team of 5+ sales reps. People skills, personal relationship building between virtual teams, working with varied headquarters resources, partner sales, and partners.
* Demonstrated experience in working with partners from recruitment to enablement to lead generation to closure of deals. Industry contacts and associations are an advantage.
* Experience in deploying multiple global partner programs, successfully addressing the unique cultural, business and technology lifecycle considerations of the global marketplace.
* Fluent English, impeccable written and oral presentation skills, strong leadership skills.
* Flexible working hours that need to accommodate communication with multiple time zones: US, Australia and Romania.
