The senior sales associate provides analytical, administrative and sales support to assigned institutional Salesperson's to enhance business growth.
He/she is actively involved in the education of new clients and in the introduction of products and services. Roles and responsibilities may vary dependent upon the assigned salespersons.
The person in this position demonstrates competence in major areas of accountability and operates with a moderate level of independence.
This position interacts widely with staff in marketing, operations and logistics, as well as with clients and suppliers.
-Degree required
-Working knowledge of PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, business graphics, databases, electronic mail and calendars (Preferably advanced Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
-1+ years experience in the retail / luxury industry
-Knowledge in Basic Accounting procedures is a plus
-Strong written and oral communication skills (including spelling and grammar)
-Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to complete projects accurately and on time
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with others in a pleasant, professional manner
-Proven problem-solving skills and ability to apply math and analytical skills
-Handle confidential matters with discretion and good judgment
-Be a self-starter who is confident working independently with minimal supervision
-Knowledge of foreign languages is a requisite
