Provident Financial Romania is part of the UK-based International Personal Finance (IPF), which in July 2007 was de-merged out of Provident Financial Group plc, founded in 1880. In Romania, the company specialises in small, unsecured cash loans delivered directly at the customers’ homes by home credit agents who then visit the customers every week to collect the repayments.
