Responsible for design and development of software modules for Broadband Wireless base station. Modules include IP networking protocols, IP data processing and network management protocols.
Taking the role of a senior technical authority in a team of 5-10 SW developers
The team is in charge of developing software modules for the next generation WiMAX base station of Alvarion and involved in developing a cutting-edge mobile wireless networks technology.
Responsible for mentoring and building-up technical skills of engineers in the team.
BS. In Computer Science or Electronic Engineering – 5 or more years of experience
Strong background in Real-Time SW development
Vast experience in ‘C’ and ‘C++’
Experience in IP Networking and data communication protocols – TCP/IP and Layer 2
Experience in developing communication systems
Experience in developing SW for network processors – an advantage
Experience in Freescale Power-PC processors – an advantage
Linux OS & Kernel development Experience – an advantage
VxWorks OS Experience – an advantage
WiMAX knowledge – an advantage
Fluent English
