We are searching for a
Quality Assurance Engineer for Application Integration components
in our Bucharest-based team.
What will you do?
You will. . .
. . . be responsible for planning and conduction of all quality assurance measures for projects of the hosting division
. . . accompany projects from conception until roll-out and beyond until closure
. . . review concepts, requirement specifications and technical documentation for accuracy
. . . plan, design, develop, execute and report different types of tests for our web-based products and integration services
. . . be responsible for the documentation of test plans, test cases and test reports
. . . design regression, functional, non-functional, integration, l tests for new system releases
. . . validate that 3rd party software fulfill defined quality requirements
. . . be responsible for quality risk assessment and the corresponding roll-out recommendations for products
. . . provide feedback from your daily work for the deduction of measures to continuously optimize the quality of our products
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.
If you have/are:
. . . BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
. . . Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance
. . . Know how to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system
. . . Experience in applying black-box test deduction methods like equivalence class analysis
. . . Knowledge of tests in the different test levels (component-, component integration-, system-, system integration- and acceptance testing)
. . . Knowledge and experience with test automation for GUI, web applications and different APIs and protocols (e.g. HTTP, IMAP, POP3, etc.)
. . . General computer knowledge, for example: SQL, html, java script, java, web services (SOA), SOAP
. . . Experience in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and specific QA tools
. . . Project specific tools (e.g. database query tools, versioning tools)
. . . Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
. . . Proven experience in GUI test automation for web applications
. . . Highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance
. . . Very good communication skills and a great team player
. . . Readiness to travel
Would be a plus:
. . . Experience with definition, implementation and execution of performance/load/stress tests
. . . Basic skill in German (both written and spoken)
. . . Experience in defining processes for software development
. . . Understanding of Java technologies
. . . Sound programming skills in Java
. . . Able to interpret HTML code
. . . Familiar with XPath
. . . ISTQB certificate as certified tester or equivalent
