Design, Develop and Execute test plan and test cases to cover functional, scalability, Performance and System testing/characterization of various Voip protocols. Clearly track test progress, report results, forecast areas of risk and provide mitigation plans. Perform unit, automation, system, integration and regression testing. Work closely with developers, providing useful debug information and sharing test code/extending developer unit tests. Set up automation test environment to improve efficiency.
¿ Clear understanding and industry experience of Voip standards and protocols such as: SIP, SCCP (Skinny), H.323, MGCP, H.248 (MEGACO) as well as TDM and analog telephony standards.
¿ Additional understanding of measuring and analyzing Quality of Voice and Quality of Fax.
¿ Ability to install, configure & debug Voip devices.
¿ Experience in traffic generating and protocol decoding test tools.
¿ Strong QA Skills on planning, bug isolation, bug report writing, troubleshooting.
¿ Understanding of software development and QA lifecycle.
¿ Automation experience in tcl/expect/Tk, Perl or other scripting languages on Windows/Unix environments is preferred but is not a must
¿ Highly organized and possessing a keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving and testing.
¿ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
¿ Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
¿ BS/MS in Computer Science/Electonics/Electical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
