The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for certifying the quality of different METRO business solutions developed internally in METRO SYSTEMS or by 3rd parties, based on Oracle
Main responsibilities:
- Involvement in the Functional Specification of the new features:
- Build and perform manual test cases for assigned applications;
- Use the HPQC as the main platform for test execution, test documentation and Defect reporting;
- Build automated scripts with the HP QuickTest Professional tool;
- Run the scripts and analyze the test results;
- Perform checking environments according to Quality Assurance standards
- Regular reports of the current activities.
- Quality Assurance experience (manual/automated testing) minimum 1-3 years with knowledge of test methodology and test procedures;
- Experience in using test tools (HPQC, HP QuickTest Pro or similar);
- PL/SQL knowledge
- Fluent in English – mandatory;
- Proactivity and fast learner;
- Organizational talents and enthusiasm.
Would be an advantage:
- Scripting/ Object Oriented programming knowledge;
- ISTQB Software Testing certification
