-Supervise recruitment of skilled resources (using TechTeam Akela’s support functions)
- Mentor and coach development team, identify training needs and organize corresponding training
- Manage staffing (with special focus on billability)
- Manage staff performance review (with TechTeam Akela) ensuring staff gets timely project feedback
- Supervise delivery activities with special focus on quality
- Enforce use of client administration tools with special focus on timely and correct time & expenses entries
-Participate in billable projects (as time allows)
- Understand and propagate the client’s vision and message
- Lead & motivate the development team to go the extra mile whenever necessary
The ideal candidate must have following background
- Deep IT consulting experience (leading complex projects with international clients)
- Consulting operations experience
- Confirmed managerial skills (with proven line management experience)
- Master in Computer Science combined with MBA or equivalent.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
While the focus is on managing and developing Bucharest staff, the Candidate should be familiar with a majority of the areas listed below:
- Skills in systems analysis and detail design cross application architectures
- Experience in all phases of one or more development methodologies
- Ability to evaluate new enterprise architectures and understand new technologies, industry trends
- Knowledge and experience with design patterns, best practices and in performance engineering
- Experience in Object Oriented Technology and Relational Database
- Application development experience with the following technologies: J2EE, PHP
- Ability to provide team with:
- technical direction to developers at all levels
- guidance and mentoring to development staff
- Experience in project management, including knowledge of project/task estimation and tracking
- Experience with Open Source technologies (e.g. JBoss, MySQL, Apache, Lamp, RedHat, SuSE, OpenCMS, SugarCRM, etc.).
