Responsibilities:
The Senior Piping Draftsman will coordinate a team of draftsmen, giving technical mentoring regarding the quality and the delivery of designs executed by the team, through program plan and technical reviews
Design and drawing activities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development and Technical Study & Detailed Design)
Prepare Layout and Piping drawings and design deliverables to the required technical quality with minimum input from engineering personnel as required.
Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel as required and ensure, as far as is practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule.
Checking the progress of the activities of the team he is responsible for, suggesting suitable actions to prevent, absorb or minimize any deviations in terms of time and costs
Ensuring the controlled management of the documents within his area of responsibility
Giving assistance to the other project positions as far as specialist aspects are concerned

Supporting the Senior Piping Engineer in the relationship with the client or the other external organizations within his area of responsibility
Reporting / Support to the Senior Piping Engineer
Leadership abilities for the coordination of a draftsmen team
Minimum 8 years of work experience in design
Mechanical Diploma -an Engineering degree is not mandatory
PC skills, including specific design software (e.g. AutoCAD)
Fluency in both written & spoken English
Italian language knowledge would be a plus
