Responsibilities:
- Architect and build both large and small scale web applications
- Write clean and maintainable code
- Work closely with a team of other skilled engineers to solve challenging technical problems
- Identify and fix performance issues in highly scalable web applications
- Extensive experience with Object Oriented PHP5 and Object Oriented Programming
- Experience using Symphony, Zend, Cake or Code igniter Frameworks
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Well versed in code optimization and software design principles
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL, including complex reporting
- Experience in working with Linux/UNIX on the command line
- Experience with Subversion
- Web Services / SOAP / REST / XMLRPC experience
- Previous work at fast-paced, startup-type environments
