The Senior .Net Developer will become part of a team in charge with developing large-scale software solutions using Microsoft .Net technologies according to the given requirements specification, using specific guidelines and methodology.
This role will include the following responsibilities:
• Maintain and develop software solutions in accordance with defined objectives (quality, security, time schedule, cost)
• Development, testing and production launching of programs
• Assistance in drawing up and validating technical specifications
• Writing of documentation and procedures/ documenting the source code with comments and writing technical documentation
• Implementing corrective actions
• Reporting on progress, issues and problems to the supervisor; providing lessons learned and giving suggestions to optimize the work processes
Technical skills:
• Good command of technologies, programming languages, databases, solutions and tools used in developing the assigned software applications
• Minimum 3 years hands-on development experience of core .NET (2.0/3.0/3.5) technology and Object Oriented Programming, including (not limited to) ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET
• Minimum 3 years experience with Oracle database
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in relational database design and development, preferable SQL Server 2005/2000
• Solid experience with NHibernate is a big plus
• Solid understanding of programming concepts
• Enthusiasm and passion for web environment.

The Senior .Net Developer should be innovative and creative and should posses the following characteristics:

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English; French would be a big plus
• Willing and able to be part of international projects and initiatives

• An ability to work under pressure and meet deadline requirements complimenting a proactive and flexible approach with a resilient and results - orientated nature
• Excellent communication skills are required in English. He/she should also have strong analytical skills, good organization skills and attention to details.
