The Senior Linux/Unix C Developer works on the design and implementation of the 4PSA Cloud Architecture components and on the integration with existing software and services (HTTP, SIP, Databases, Mail, etc). Around 20% of the time is spent in research related activities. We expect from any Senior Developer to be able to provide technical lead to a team of up to five developers.
Our candidate should have a University Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics and a relevant C/C++ software development experience under Linux/Unix platforms. Good understanding of algorithms, computer architecture and networking protocols are also required.
We do not require our candidate to have experience with Cluster / Grid systems, but we expect him to be able to answer to some basic questions about them.
