RESPONSABILITATI

POSITION DEFINITION:
Under direction, this professional level classification provides legal support to the company and its clients; advises the company on legal aspects of legal and operational issues; performs difficult and complex legal work; provides oversight of the commercial law and other professional contracts.

1. Employee must have general knowledge of:
a. Legal principles and precedents and their application.
b. Statutory and constitutional law
c. Principals of civil, labor and administrative law
d. The principles, methods, materials and practices of legal research and writing.
e. Computer assisted research skill.
f. Business and Legal English- mandatory

2. Employee must have the ability to:
a. Present statements of fact and law and argue clearly and logically in written and oral form.
b. Define issues, perform legal research, analyze problems, evaluate alternatives and make appropriate recommendations.
c. Prepare clear and concise memoranda, summarize legal issues and precedents.
d. Effectively represent the clients in contacts with the public, attorneys, law enforcement agencies and other government jurisdictions.
e. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

3. Employee must have the following minimum experience or training:
Any combination of experience and education that would provide the required level of knowledge, abilities and certification is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:
Active legal background of 3 (three) years experience as Legal Adviser or Lawyer in private service law practice, corporation with an emphasis on consultancy and research, or as a corporate counsel with a Consultancy firm.

4. Employee must fulfill the following special requirements:
Normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; corrected vision to normal range; verbal communication; use of office equipment, including computers, telephones, calculators copiers and FAX machines.
As an essential function of this position, the employee must be able to handle high levels of stress satisfactorily and be congenial with other employees, judicial offices, supervisors, outside contractors and other entities personnel.

TYPICAL DUTIES:
Depending on assignment, duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Researches, analyzes and interprets existing laws and ordinances, court decisions, pending legislation and other legal authorities; utilizes traditional research tools as well as on-line research and the Internet.
• Prepares written memoranda for clients and/or courts of justice on a variety of issues and proceedings, including civil and administrative law.
• Provides legal research and advice on matters of corporate law, including but not limited to legislative changes, Administrative Office, practices and procedures of the Civil and labor related issues and other issues of commercial law.
• Confers with colleagues, clients, attorneys, court staff and the public administration on procedural matters and legal issues.
• May be responsible for the oversight of one or more clients as assigned.
• Meets regularly with the clients’ representatives to obtain information regarding operational problems; helps in developing practices and procedures that effectively serve the company.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of general business terms , business related agreements and legal documents with clients, suppliers and other business counterparts.
• Contribution to the legal definition of new business initiatives, business models and investment opportunities.
• Provide regulatory and legal support internally.
• Managing contacts with regulators and law firms.
• Verify business written communication.
• Create, review and improve standard business writing corporate policies.
• Review and improve company’s standard operating procedures in submission of documents.
• Registering documents at Trade Registry.
• Verify business written communication.
• Archiving folders.
• Keeping abreast of changes in legislation.
