You will:
-develop a large consumer facing website using Java frameworks and Web 2.0 technologies;
- build a cross-browser rich internet application (RIA);
-use well known open source frameworks like Apache Wicket and qooxdoo
-become involved in the full application development lifecycle;
-document your technical specification using UML;
- find solutions for our customer s needs together with your German colleagues.
-very good knowledge of JavaScript and of one of the well-known JavaScript frameworks: Dojo, Scriptaculous, Qooxdoo is a big plus;
- thorough knowledge and hands-on expertise of Java Servlets/Java;
-thorough knowledge and hands-on expertise of cross-site-scripting, security;
-thorough knowledge and hands-on expertise of cross-window/cross domain communication;
- thorough knowledge and hands-on expertise of Web-Container (Tomcat) and Load balancing/Session handling;
-very good hands-on expertise of Maven and Continuous Integration Tools;
-excellent object oriented analysis and design skills (OOA/OOD);
Would be a plus:
-experience with distributed, high availability and high load systems;
-experience with the qooxdooRIA framework;
-knowledge of German language.
