Perform a variety of legal activities in accordance with the established standards of the legal profession to protect the organisation's reputation and business interests and help ensure it complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
Provide legal advice and counsel within area of expertise to functional or operational area managers to ensure that their current or proposed activities, policies, business practices, and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Review legal analyses and technical reports and make recommendations to senior management on how to respond to legal issues or proposed changes in laws and regulations.
Review and approve legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters (for example loans, leases, purchase agreements, acquisitions, divestitures, employment contracts) to protect the organisation's legal and business interests.
Represent the organisation in complex, controversial, significant, or specialised legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities so that the organisation's interests are protected.
Prepare or review materials for external legal counsel so that they are well-prepared to represent the organisation in legal proceedings. Coach less experienced legal staff and help them resolve problems. Reports to General Manager.
Degree from a reputable law school;
Member of the Lawyers Bar (mandatory);
Experienced legal practitioner (min. 8-10 years);
Very strong knowledge of: Mergers & Acquisitions, General Corporate, Capital Markets;
Advanced knowledge of English(writing&speaking&negotiating);
It is essential you have gained previous experience working within a similar Investment Found;
