Job Purpose:
Providing the company with management reports, preparing financial reports according to IFRS and RAS
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in elaborating financial reports for management, shareholders, financial institutions;
- Participates in elaborating the monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Statements prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards and the Romanian Accounting Standards (OMF 94), supporting the entities within Rompetrol Group;
- Participates in elaborating monthly, quarterly and annual Consolidated Financial Statements in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards;
- Coordinates the budgetary control system for the entities within the Rompetrol Group.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Accounting / Finance preferred);
- All supplemental qualifications related to the job would be considered a valuable asset (ACCA, CFA etc.);
- At least 2 years experience in a financial department; relevant experience in the listed areas of expertise will be a plus;
- Knowledge and ability to use the International Financial Reporting Standards and Romanian Accounting Standards;
- Ability to generate, interpret, and easily understand the Financial Statements of a company (Balance Sheets, Statements of Income, Statements of Cash Flow, and the accompanying notes thereafter);
- Knowledge of Budgeting and Forecasting;
- Good command of English language, knowledge of French language would be a plus;
- Good communication skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
- Capable to operate under pressure.
