- collect, compile, verify, and analyse financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets.
- analyse the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior managers can evaluate alternatives against the organisation’s business objectives.
- evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organisation’s short, medium and long-term financial and competitive position.
- conduct and document complex financial analysis projects.
- develop analysis of economic indicators in order to prepare forecasts and analyse the company’s short, medium, and long term position.
- University degree in Economics or similar
- possess well developed knowledge and skills to interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues;
- analytical skills, initiative, pro-activity and tenacity are highly appreciated;
- excellent PC skills (MS Office).
