Development of Cacti-RRD monitoring system:
1. DB time granularity
The monitored device may generate data 100 times per sec.
It is required to store the full data set gathered from the monitored system
Understand DB time stamp minimal unit (msec, sec, etc’)
2. DB data injection
Find the proper command(s) for data insertion according to sampled time samp (consider time stamp resolution)
3. DB structure
Create the DB in correct manner for all time stamp
4. Graphs
Show performances analysis on averaging from the DB as compared to averaging before insertion
Show performances analysis for ‘moving average’
1. Cacti - mandatory
