At this moment we are looking for a Senior Developer for our client an IT Multinational Company.
The Seniro Developer will work for EMEA Technology Solutions and is responsible for the Wheel of Upsell for Technology - primarily used by the Sales Teams across EMEA. It is designed to help uncover opportunities by pulling together various sources of customer information and presenting them in a way that makes useful suggestions for upsell.
As Senior Developer you will be expected to deliver innovative technical solutions to ensure the continuous development of the wheel to meet the business needs of the users and stakeholders. This includes the ability to design, build and deploy enhancements involving Oracle technologies primarily involving J2EE.
Meet Stakeholders to discuss application requirements
Evaluate requirements and technical limitations with the stakeholders
Liaise with technical architects and delivery teams to ensure technical consistency
Develop prototype functionality to demonstrate design options.
Implement add-on functionality to the existing J2EE web based application to satisfy immediate users’ needs.
Review the prototype with the stakeholders to ensure it meets business and usability requirements
Develop and maintain direct relationship with the appropriate internal stakeholders
At least 3 years Java/XML application development experience including exposure to development of web applications
Experience of working with Oracle Java/XML development tools and technologies
Knowledge of full project lifecycle – from initial consultation to delivery
Fluency in English
Proven track record of Web application development using industry J2EE development frameworks, (e.g. ADF is desirable), Java API’s and JavaScript.
Ability to design Java components using OO design pattern
Ability to install and configure using an Oracle Application Server
Ability to write, debug and deploy PL/SQL components in an Oracle database.
An understanding of UIX, Junit, Subversion and Apache ant
