Adecco Professional Placement is looking for its client, a multinational manufacturing company in Ploiesti, a Senior Design Engineer.
Job Profile:
•Designs and builds prototype production equipment (the experience in molding or extrusion plastics processing and product design is essential);
•Coordinates the generation of detailed product design;
•Provides work direction to designer(s) or lab technician(s) as required to implement product or process design phases, prototyping, and testing of product parameters and attributes;
•Prepares/analyzes engineering studies on product structure or performance;
•Generates pertinent product bill of materials and/or cost modeling as required;
•Provides sustaining engineering support;
•Coordinates equipment construction by outside vendors.
•Engineering degree;
•Applicable experience of minimum 5 years (mold flow simulation experience, experience in tool design and molding principles) – comprehensive understanding of the process from drawing to final product;
•English language - excellent verbal and written communication skills;
•Project Management knowledge and experience;
•Proficient in 3D part modeling and 2D drawings;
•Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference and fundamentals of solid geometry;
•Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratio and proportions to practical situations.
