We are looking for a senior database engineer with expertise in data modeling, ETL and some data warehousing experience.
Responsibilities:
Senior Database engineer will be part of the multi-expertise team which develops enterprise software solutions for our client's customers. This person will be involved in the full development cycle from analyzing requirements, designing a solution, development and unit testing. Person will have to be excellent team player, and able to multitask between different projects. Excellent communicational and problem solving skills are needed to understand business requirements and translate them into database requirements as logical and physical models and associated ETL processes.
Experience and Requirements:
¿ Minimum 5 years of experience with enterprise software solution development preferably in the area of business intelligence, ERP system integration and data warehousing.
¿ Strong relational and dimensional data modeling and database design skills.
¿ Expert level knowledge of SQL.
¿ The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle database, data transformations , PL/SQL,
¿ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
¿ BS in Computer Science or related field.
¿ Object oriented programming
Desired but not required skills:
¿ Knowledge of business intelligence systems such as Micro Strategy, Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports.
