- Your main task will be to serve the ISE Credit Manager and region Credit Analysts with in depth region / country macroeconomic analysis as well as to perform strategic risk analysis across the ISE region to drive the function into a more portfolio based risk approach
- Core tasks will be data-mining, -interpretation and analysis as well as to summarize the information in a way to allow ISE, EMEA or Global (Credit)-management to take the right decisions. As you need to be the link between local credit analysts, credit management and even BU-, Country- or Sales-management certain seniority and experience in dealing with this hierarchy level is expected.
- Coordinate and consolidate reporting activities across the whole ISE region and potentially to create and provide training sessions towards collection teams in local countries to enhance the reports received from countries to comply with the needed EMEA standards.
- Drive efforts to ensure a smooth integration of potential mergers & acquisitions HP may do within the region.
- Financial / Economical Analysis: expert in analyzing and interpreting company financial information as well as country / region macro-economical information.
- Data-mining / -interpretation / -presentation: It is critical for the Credit Analyst to have a broad knowledge of available information sources in regards to Political-, Economical-, Social-, Specific Industry- and Financial-Information in regards to the ISE Territory and potential other growing economies. This includes also Know-How how and where to find specific information through the Internet. An addiction to work with any kind of databases would help to perform the job.
- Project Management: Ability to drive projects across various functions, countries and cultures.
Candidate profile:
- Background in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar position
- Fluent in English. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Expert knowledge using MS-Office tools, especially Excel but also excellent skills to summarize the outcome and to present to different levels of HP or customer Management.
- High self confidence, must be self starting and be able to motivate her-/him-self every day
- Ability to organize and set right priorities. Results driven
- Able to influence people across the whole spectrum of contacts while people do not direct report to into the function.

The ISE Region ¿ Central Eastern Europe, Russia, CIS, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Middle East and Africa ¿ is considered one of the fastest growing territories for HP´s business.
Within this region HP is mainly selling to Channel Partners but also the base of direct customers is growing fast especially on the services side.
The challenge of the HP ISE Credit function is to establish sufficient credit lines to support the planned growth of the business while keeping risk under control.
HP ISE Credit is organized as a virtual team of Credit Analysts and Collection Specialists located in many of the countries and a newly established Center of Excellence in Bucharest.
The position of the ISE Senior Credit Analyst will be located within the Bucharest Centre of Excellence. Main responsibility will be to serve the ISE Credit Manager and region Credit Analysts with in depth region / country macroeconomic analysis as well as to perform strategic risk analysis across the ISE region to drive the function into a more portfolio based risk approach. In addition the position is responsible to ensure overall data quality as well as to drive process harmonization within the ISE Credit function.
