Information Security Senior Consultant is responsible for lead the delivery and management of information security and assurance related services. This role will provide company customers’ with security program implementation, policy and governance design, security monitoring, IT and Security assessment and audit, IT security technology architecture assessment, design, implementation and operations.
- Provide strategic information security advisory and consulting services for enterprise clients
- Identify, scope, and deliver customer Information Risk Management activities within the company services portfolio
- Scope security engagements and support development of proposals and statements of work, effectively translating customer requirements into engagements to address those needs
- Translate business, industry, and regulatory requirements into information risk management objectives and associated tactical/strategic information security initiatives
- Identify sales opportunities during and after engagement; work with sales personnel to close business:
- Work independently to perform security risk assessments and audits, identify security risks based on client’s requirement, to support client’s information security and risk program in a fast paced environment
- Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients
- Manage information security systems and technologies (user identity and access management, data access management and loss prevention, vulnerability management etc)
- Relevant work experience in consulting, service delivery, service management areas;
- Proven track record in Security from both a technical and a governance perspective;
- Ability to interact with clients at the highest level, advising and designing security solutions taking a vendor-neutral approach.
- Network and application security, Information Risk Management, Security Audit and Operations, Compliance management
- Experience with relevant standards (COBIT, ISO27001, ITIL etc)
- Cross-organizational IT project management experience with an information security focus
- Ability to self-manage, meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and project management skills. Understanding the needs of the audience and persuading the audience through insights and communicating the same effectively through written, oral and presentation skills
- Strong business acumen – ability to think strategically & having a strong handle on the market, industry and competitive dynamics, and relating the same to generate a compelling product direction
- Strong technical background – must be not only familiar, but have deep expertise in mobile technologies, platforms and application development frameworks
