Functional
-Understands and explains to staff the objectives of an advisory project and the staff’s role in the audit process
-Stays abreast of general business and economic developments and applies their under¬standing of the client’s business and industry to identify areas of significance for the advisory projects he/she is assigned to, and explains important developments/matters to staff
-Develops the work plan, together with Project Manager, and prepares detailed work programs for procedures to be applied
-Allocates daily work among staff members, coordinates work, performs first level review, executes work in complex areas, and reports to Project Manager
Client
-Prepares memoranda and other working papers, letters, and correspondence (e.g., Planning Memorandum, work plan, management letter, deliverables, Summary Review Memorandum, and corre¬spondence with the client).
-Participates in meetings with the client engagement team and the client. Presents information to others in one-on-one and small group situations, such as verbal presentations to client personnel.
-Interacts with client personnel and demonstrates a commitment to continually improve our client’s satisfaction.
-Ensures proper approval and sign-off of client deliverables by Project Manager, Director and/or Partner; escalates any quality issues to the Project Manager proactively, ensuring these issues are addressed at the earliest convenient time.

-Fosters teamwork by maintaining cooperative relationships with the client engagement team; contributing to a work environment that leads to high morale, productivity, and open communications; facilitating the resolution of conflicts; sharing information; and, accepting and providing constructive feedback
-Provides guidance to assist staff in reaching their full potential (e.g., willingly addresses questions, contributes constructive on-the-job feedback and training, con¬ducts meaningful and timely performance reviews).
Degree qualified, and with 4+ years work experience in the inspection, internal audit or internal controls departments in the Ministry of Finance or in the inspection / supervision related departments of an industry regulatory body, key skills for this role include:
-Strong knowledge of core financial, accounting, and operational processes, having performed a number of internal audit projects in the domain
-Proven experience in internal audit projects related to assess compliance and operational effectiveness in the following fields: Public acquisition, public procurement, granting and utilization of public funds (in particular EU funds) and similar incentives
-Deep knowledge of internal audit concepts and standards (preferably the Standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors)
-Proven track record in working and delivering business change in a multi-project environment
-Experience in leading internal audit field teams and acting as in-charge in individual internal audit projects/missions
-Proven experience in working with electronic internal audit planning, execution and work paper management tools
-Strong knowledge of enterprise-wide risk assessment and internal audit planning
-Familiarity with IT internal auditing and related concepts, experience in the field is a plus
-One major international qualification (preferably CIA or CISA, if not ACCA / CIPFA / CPA, CFA, CRP or CRM, etc.) is a plus, but not essential (candidates may also demonstrate that they are in the process of obtaining one of these certifications)
