RESPONSABILITATI

Objective
-Responsible for participating in and supervising multiple client engagements and other related activities under the general direction of more experienced engagement team members
-Discusses moderately complex issues with engagement team and client management
Functional
-Understands and explains to staff the objectives of an advisory project and the staff’s role in the audit process
-Stays abreast of general business and economic developments and applies their under¬standing of the client’s business and industry to identify areas of significance for the advisory projects he/she is assigned to, and explains important developments/matters to staff
-Develops the work plan, together with Project Manager, and prepares detailed work programs for procedures to be applied
-Allocates daily work among staff members, coordinates work, performs first level review, executes work in complex areas, and reports to Project Manager
Client
-Prepares memoranda and other working papers, letters, and correspondence (e.g., Planning Memorandum, work plan, management letter, deliverables, Summary Review Memorandum, and corre¬spondence with the client).
-Participates in meetings with the client engagement team and the client. Presents information to others in one-on-one and small group situations, such as verbal presentations to client personnel.
-Interacts with client personnel and demonstrates a commitment to continually improve our client’s satisfaction.
-Ensures proper approval and sign-off of client deliverables by Project Manager, Director and/or Partner; escalates any quality issues to the Project Manager proactively, ensuring these issues are addressed at the earliest convenient time.

-Fosters teamwork by maintaining cooperative relationships with the client engagement team; contributing to a work environment that leads to high morale, productivity, and open communications; facilitating the resolution of conflicts; sharing information; and, accepting and providing constructive feedback
-Provides guidance to assist staff in reaching their full potential (e.g., willingly addresses questions, contributes constructive on-the-job feedback and training, con¬ducts meaningful and timely performance reviews).

Requirements:

Degree qualified, and with 4+ years work experience in Big 4 would be a plus, global management consultancy firm or Blue Chip organization, with an appropriate background, a track record of project delivery in some of the services and solutions described below:

Finance & Performance Management (F&PM): The Finance & Performance Management (F&PM) service line works with clients to address issues of importance to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in creating value and delivering world-class finance capabilities. Core F&PM services include:

• Shared Services Center implementation
• Planning & Performance Management
• Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting

Supply Chain (SC): aims to redefine consulting by providing high value advice and high value delivery. The Senior Consultant will be assigned to lead Ernst & Young’s Business Advisory Services in Romania. Key attributes and skills for this role include:
-Knowledge of major business processes of one or more particular industries (production and manufacturing, retail, FMCG, automotive, energy, oil & gas, telecommunications and/or utilities)
-Strong knowledge of accounting in the particular industry and financial and back-office processes
-Specialized knowledge in one or more of the following accounting and finance processes: Sales and receivables, purchases and payables, payroll, taxes, fixed assets, inventory management, cash management
-Knowledge in one or more of the following fields: Cost accounting, ABC, planning and budgeting including OPEX and CAPEX planning, forecasting, and financial analysis
-Experience in one or more projects dealing with the following organizational aspects: Finance transformation & finance performance improvement, implementation of shared financial services center, supply chain strategies and planning, procurement planning and re-engineering, customer strategy and product planning, business intelligence and transformation
-Deep knowledge of the financial statement close process relevant to the particular industry
-Proven track record in working and delivering business change in a multi-project environment
-Knowledge of the specific operating model design and implementation for the particular industry
-One major international qualification (ACCA / CIPFA / CPA, CFA, PMP, etc.) is a plus, but not essential (candidates may also demonstrate that they are in the process of obtaining one of these certifications)
