Providing clients with consultancy and practical assistance on environmental issues, including but not limited to the following topics:
- environmental contributions;
- waste management;
- compliance with environmental legal obligations (e.g. authorisations and permits, registrations, reporting, etc);
- assistance during audits conducted by the environmental authorities;
- assistance on disputes and litigation in the environmental field.
Performing environmental reviews/audits, including environmental impact studies;
Liaising with the environmental authorities;
Analyse the European environmental legislation and the best practice in the EU Member States, and propose amendments to align and harmonise the relevant Romanian legislation to the EU legislation and practice;
Analysing clients' operations, investments etc. from an environmental perspective, in order to identify potential risks and opportunities, as well as to find out solutions to respectively re-solve or minimise the risks and to implement the opportunities.;
Involvement in environmental aspects related to green-field projects, including obtaining of EU funds for environmental projects.
3+ years experience in environmental area;
Experience in dealing with local environmental authorities;
Experience with obtaining EU funds for environmental projects would be an advantage;
Fluency in written and spoken English;
PC literate (MS Office);
Team player with communication skills, business awareness and proactive attitude.
