Tax Consultants have the knowledge and expertise in corporate taxation, indirect taxation and personal taxation in order to provide local and international clients with tailored advice. Their objective is to help clients optimize their tax positions.
Within this role, you’ll have the chance to specialize on Corporate Taxation with focus on Pharma clients:
• General Tax advice;
• Tax review;
• Corporate Tax Compliance;
• Assistance with Tax authorities;
• Transfer Pricing;
• Mergers & Acquisitions;
• International Tax Planning and Structuring.
Main responsibilities:
Providing clients with local tax advice within an international context, in respect of profit tax, withholding tax, dividend tax and local taxes regulations;
Analysing clients' transactions, contracts, investments etc.;
Performing tax optimisation for client's fiscal and financial activity;
Providing assistance with tax authorities:
- Assistance during the tax audits;
- Objections to control minutes;
- Drafting letters to the tax authorities;
PwC Romania is currently looking for a colleague with tax expertise to join our Corporate Tax Services group. You will quickly get your hands on some exciting work in various areas of Corporate Tax and develop an in-depth understanding of our clients’ businesses and industries.
We are looking for:
University degree;
• 2+ years’ experience in tax field (preferably in a consulting role);
• Good knowledge of tax legislation (especially income tax), knowledge of pharma industry would be an advantage;
• Good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards;
Fluency in written and spoken English;
PC literate (MS Office);
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
