- Identify, asses and monitor the risk of legal or regulatory sanctions, material financial loss, or loss to reputation that the Bank may suffer as a result of its potential failure to comply with laws, regulations, rules, self-regulatory organization standards and codes of conduct applicable for its banking activities;
- Ensure the development of standards, regulations and specific instructions related to compliance as well as update them and harmonization with all internal VBRO rules;
- Identify deficiencies in accomplish Bank compliance obligations and prevent, if possible issuing of new ones;
- Manage the risk of compliance regarding the products and/or financial services offered by VBRO which enter under the incidence of MiFID, market manipulation and insider law principles;
- Evaluate branches /directorates/ departments activities in terms of compliance risk, and classify them from compliance point of view, based on compliance indicators;
- Provide analysis and give opinions on launching new products, on developing new business strategies, and in case of relevant technical and organizational changes.
- University degree: economics or legal;
- Minimum 3 years in compliance /legal field;
- Previous relevant experience in compliance/legal area would be an asset;
- Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, etc);
- Good knowledge of operating in banking IT applications;
-Very good knowledge of NBR norms and banking legislation;
- Good English knowledge;
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills;
- Open minded, pro-active person.
