The Senior C/C++ Engineer will have solid programming knowledge and experience in developing commercial software. He/she will analyze the requirements, create the design, implement and deliver top quality product based solutions that meet the defined requirements on time and in the budget.
Will implement the requirements according to the design and ensure the deliverables meet the required quality levels. Will provide accurate task estimations and input to project plan. Will assist the more junior team members and will participate in specifications, design or code reviews. He/she will liaise with different groups within the company to determine their requirements and priorities. This person will also train end users on the efficient use of the developed applications.
Very solid C/C++ programming skills
Strong development experience under Windows and Linux.
Network programming experience (TCP/IP)
Very knowledgeable of optimization, debugging and profiling techniques
Proficient with object-oriented design principles
Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
Motivated and proactive attitude to take ownership and initiative in all work assignments
Strong hands on design & development skills
Good knowledge of version control, build & issue tracking processes & tools.
Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technologies
Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BS/MS degree in computer science or a related field
Experience in the following areas is preferred:
Telecom Protocols & Network Management
Low-level understanding of network related protocols and technologies, layers 2-3, 4-7
Good knowledge of VoIP protocols, Quality of Service.
Expertise developing on embedded systems
Expertise developing on Solaris
Good knowledge of Java/J2EE
