Senior C++ Developer

Technical skills:

- Programming languages: extensive C/C++ experience (over 4 years); familiarity with Perl- would be strong asset

- Technologies: STL, COM, experience with multithreading, exception handling - mandatory; Internet Explorer COM Interfaces, HTML Web standards familiarity - would be a big plus

- Others:
Experience with design patterns, coding standards, maintenance of large and frequent changing codebases.
Using/building testing and monitoring tools.
Using/devising the most efficient way of analyzing the websites to be less prone to changes.
Performance (load tests, algorithms etc.) - mandatory, as the client is dealing with (sometimes) slow websites.

Soft skills:

- Ability to openly present her/his own ideas
- Independent and highly self-motivated with a strong customer focus
-Able to work both independently and as part of a team
-Fluency in English; French would be a big plus
- Willing and able to be part of international projects and initiatives
- Action and results orientated, ability to manage multiple priorities is also expected
- An ability to work under pressure and meet deadline requirements complimenting a proactive and flexible approach with a resilient and results - orientated nature
- Excellent communication skills are required in English. He/she should also have strong analytical skills, good organization skills and attention to details.
