RESPONSABILITATI:
As a member of a multidisciplinary Agile team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our security solutions for our customers worldwide, which currently number around 100 million. Your duties will focus on creating products specifications, design, develop and maintain C/C++ Cross platform software, create and maintain products technical documentation and ensure the quality of our software components using modern software engineering methods and tests, based on company's specifications and quality standards.

As a Senior C/C++ Developer at Avira, you will:
- Develop and maintain cross platform security software.
- Design good and reliable product architecture based on the specifications.
- Ensure the quality of our software components using modern software engineering methods and automated tests.
- Improve the functionality, reliability, performance, usability of our software.
- Create and maintain product technical documentation.
- Work closely with other team members in an Agile development environment.
- Work efficiently without close supervision.
- Adapt and solve exciting problems with new technologies.
- Keep up-to-date with developing technologies and showcase them in your work.
CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Your technical profile:
- 3+ years experience with:
• C/C++ programming;
• debugging utilities;
• Linux system programming and API;
• multi-threading, multi-process and socket programming;
• design patterns
- Knowledge of Linux platform (file system, administration utilities);
- Good written and spoken English skills;
- Analytical skills along with an interest in investigating problems;
- Great sense of responsibility and commitment;
- Team player;
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Windows platform (file system, administration utilities);
- Experience with Windows system programming and API;
- Scripting with Python, Perl, shell scripting programming;
- Agile software development;
