Our KPMG advisory team is opening up a position of Senior Consultant for valuation assignments. Providing business valuation services is a challenging task. Nevertheless it is a very rewarding and exciting work which requires professionals with excellent financial, numerical skills and a strong capacity for thinking "on their feet".
Your job would include:
- providing business valuation services under International Valuation Standards
- carrying out research to support the valuation process and which includes the use of valuation methodologies such as DCF (Discounted Cash Flows) and the multiples based valuation methodology, and summarising and analysing such information for reporting to client
- the analysis of historical information and the current market position of companies to validate the projected financial evolution of the companies
- preparing business models
- reporting on valuation outcomes using different valuation methods and approaches (i.e. DCF, Multiples etc.)
- maintaining client relationships and communicating with client personnel at a technical level
- coordinating, coaching and supervising advisory staff at less senior levels
- assuming indicated roles in projects according to your position
- liaising with actual and potential clients at a technical level.
The following qualifications and experience are required:
- excellent financial and numerical skills and knowledge of Excel
- 2-3 years experience in audit or advisory
- have excellent written and spoken English and Romanian;
- good inter-personal and communication skills
- previous business valuation experience is highly advantageous
- ability to observe deadlines and to perform work under pressure
- assessment and prioritisation of multiple tasks, projects and demands;
- strong analytical skills
- self-motivated, eager to acquire experience and build a career in a professional environment and with a strong team work spirit.
