Designs and elaborates enhancements to banking software/new software as requested by business lines or as project tasks;
Performs complex products and applications setup on business request;
Works with software providers in analysis and design of software changes to the banking applications;
Works with Project Management and business lines in projects definition, analysis and implementation;
Offers consultancy to peer analysts and to business beneficiaries, suggests business solutions;
Coordinates project streams or activities within the team and acts as spokesman;
Provides assistance and training to IT support staff upon project completion;
Supports with the IT business relationship managers and with the project office to assess project initiatives with the business lines;
Required background:
University Degree in Computer Science/ Cybernetics or similar;
At least 5 years of experience in managing IT application analysis in a financial institution;
Experience with large projects is a must;
Proficiency in English is a must.
Required competences:
Knowledge of best practices in the area of application software analysis;
Strong proven knowledge about banking software (IT architecture, functional features, IT technical design) and excellent knowledge of major software technologies;
Excellent applied banking knowledge in multiple areas such as Finance, Risk, Sales& Product Management, Banking Operations, Treasury;
Excellent presentation abilities both in Romanian and English;
Strong personality, good team spirit;
Strong analytical skills, capable to assess impact on a highly connected IT software applications landscape;
Strong collaboration skills, solution oriented, supportive attitude;
Open minded, proactive and motivated;
Well organized and efficient, able to follow deadlines;
Courses and certifications on the area of IT service delivery and / or IT system analysis is an asset;
Proven experience in work with software vendors and consultants in banking software area.
Good knowledge of MS SQL / Oracle databases (administration, development) is an asset;
