Serves as a trusted business advisor by providing client management value-added advice related to the client’s needs
Provides concise and well-written reports
Supervises the less senior team members
Provides on job training to the team members and guidance when needed
Continuously challenges the audit approach and looks for improvements
Monitors the time spent on the engagements and advices for possible overruns
Communicates to managers any issues or potential issues in due time
Understands the banking business and products
Understands and has knowledge about the regulatory framework (e.g NBR norms)
Client
Maintains a good relationship the client
Prepares memoranda, working papers, and other documents in conjunction with serving the client (e.g., proposals, engagement letters, management letters, reports on other attest services).
People
Fosters teamwork by maintaining cooperative relationships with client engagement teams (e.g., sharing staff’s and senior’s time with other engagement teams), contributing to positive work environments, facilitating the resolution of conflicts, sharing information, and accepting and providing constructive feedback
Undergraduate degree in accounting, master’s degree in accounting and/or under¬graduate or master’s degree and has achieved/ in progress to achieve the certification.
Up to 3-4 years experience working as an auditor for a public accounting firm or possesses particular business/industry experience to meet special needs (e.g banking, energy etc)
Different courses and degrees in accounting, auditing (ACCA, CECCAR, Chamber of Financial Auditors and others)
SKILLS:
Computer skills
Knowledge of ERP
Knowledge of core banking systems
English – advanced level (business English)
Other languages are considered an advantage
