RESPONSABILITATI

 Review of reports – management and statutory reports;
-Responsible for the review of reports, statistics and other financial results for allocated clients;
-Ensures all accounting and tax calculations comply with local regulations and if the case with International Accounting Standards, UK or US GAAP.

 Review of all the correspondence with clients
-Reviews the daily correspondence with clients on accounting issues, tax issues, missing documents, etc.
-Informs the clients about changes in legislation / potential tax and statutory compliance risks;
-Drafts and/or reviews complex reports, memorandums, specific issues that require complex knowledge.

 Client liaison
-Maintains permanent contact with clients on day to day operations and complex issues;
-Ensures that the client is informed about any potential tax consequences in due time;
-Assists clients in making relevant business decisions if company support is required;
-Ensures that final work is delivered to the client in a clear and concise manner and within agreed deadlines;
-Maintains client network through regular contact to ensure current understanding of the business/strategy.

 Meeting client needs
-Meets client expectations by: delivering to agreed deadlines, replying to queries within 24h of receipt, keeping client informed on the progress of the work, being flexible to changing client requirements;
-Leads client meetings on areas within required technical skill level and contributes ideas at meetings on areas of knowledge;
-Regularly seeks feedback from clients and colleagues and acts on it to improve client service and communication with team members.

 Relationship with state authorities
-Relationship with state authorities on any tax issues, such as tax audits, VAT reimbursements, etc.
-Ensures that unclear legislative issues are sorted out by drafting addresses to the Tax Authorities.
 Coordinates the activity of the allocated team of junior accountants, accountants, supervisors and senior accountants for which he/she is responsible
-Responsible for reviewing and controlling of the accounting functions for allocated companies;
-Responsible for ensuring the quality of the work of the allocated team (minimum number of errors, good feedback and client information, minimum number of complaints, quick response);
-Provides clear guidance to staff on the assigned tasks, expected completion term and expected outcome;
-Provides on the job training, assistance, reviews and appraises the team members
-Acts as overall co-ordinator on all finance matters for allocated companies;
-Works independently in all financial matters related to allocated clients, co-operates with others according to the needs of the accounting department;
-Ensures that all deadlines and budgets are met;
-Is proactive and uses initiative to clarify issues, identify savings and efficiency for clients;
-Allocates the staff resources under supervision in an efficient and effective manner (distributes work load efficiently and according to the quality and knowledge of staff under supervision);
 Reviews the accounts prepared in accordance with Romanian Accounting Standards, IAS, US or UK GAAP;
 Keeps up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation and informs the team members superiors on the changes;
 Supports the team by sharing information / knowledge with more junior staff and coordinates them in achieving results and in the completion of the given tasks;
 Identifies particular risks related to the client transactions. Such risks refer to, but are not limited to primary accounting documents, tax and legal aspects;
 Responsible for implementing and/or further developing company quality control procedures.


CERINTE

 Briefs more junior staff by clearly setting out requirements (standards of work, reporting, deadlines, etc.)
 Efficiently communicates status of work, problem areas and potential risk issues to the executive directors;
 Communicates with team members so that they are aware of:
-amendments in deadlines due to circumstances;
-additional work required as a result of information received to date.
 Communicates effectively with clients and colleagues through written, verbal and non-verbal communication and actively listens to, understands and constructively questions others;
 Understanding of the issues potentially influencing when accepting new clients, like for example:
-conflicts of interest;
-client reputation/history;
-reason for changing the advisors;
-financial problems of the client, etc.
 University graduate and other relevant professional qualifications (ACCA, CECCAR, etc.);
 Fluent in English/French;
 Minimum 6 years experience in accounting field;
 Minimum 2 years experience in a managerial position.
