RESPONSABILITATI

Perform a variety of accounting functions within the Accounting department. May perform one or more of the following duties:
Prepare and consolidate journal entries for upload into the ERP;
Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications;
Maintain and reconcile ledger and sub-ledger accounts, including issue resolution;
Balance books or accounts and prepare profit/loss, income and balance sheet statements;
Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly reports;
Comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other internal controls;
May have to participate/cooperate with audits (internal and external) by providing supporting documentation;
Prepare and analyze tax records and reports, as well as prepare local, state and federal tax returns;
Prepare and maintain records and perform miscellaneous tax assignments;
Work on problem diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions;
Interact with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise;
Interact with colleagues around the world.


CERINTE

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance;
3 - 5 years of related professional experience;
CPA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent certification is required;
Fluency in English and French;
U.S. GAAP preferred but not required;
Excellent French/English Communication Skills - both written and verbal;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently;
During Month-end Close, some work may have to be done during the Eastern Standard Time Zone (GMT-5);
Experience with JD Edwards or SAP preferred, but not required;
Must be able to obtain the appropriate Visas and travel on an occasional basis.
