• Managing company's accounting department to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements, tax filings, reports and other documents required by the local regulations.
• Assisting the local Business Planning Manager and Senior Management in financial planning, budgeting, month-end and year-end financial activities like reconciliations, Budget preparations.
• Managing and ensuring timely and accurate submission of all the necessary documents / information.
• Conducting the annual audits with a consulting firm, RD Internal Audit or other auditing authorities.
• Coding, calculations, document preparations and bookings according to the separate instructions,
• Preparation of the standard financial reports,
• VAT returns preparations and the assistance in the Intrastat reporting,
• Performing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation for the statutory and US GAAP reporting purposes
• Respond to ad hoc financial and taxes requests
6 MONTHS DETERMINED CONTRACT PERIOD
Degree in Economic Sciences, Finance or Accounting
Sound experience in Romanian and/or western accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP ),Knowledge of the Romanian tax regulations (CIT, VAT)
Knowledge of EU VAT and instrastat related regulations
General ledger experience,
Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Excel
Familiarity with complex accounting systems (ideally based on Oracle platform),
Good command of English
Work Experience: 6+ years accounting/taxation area preferably with Multinational company
