The successful candidate will manage accounting and financial responsibilities for Romania and will report to the Wester Entity Finance Manager. The specific areas of involvement will include:
- Financial support to the country manager and other business managers,
- Financial support to the country manager for the business decisions
- Ensure that internal policies (finance policies) are respected
- Provide valuable support to the country manager and local management team so that all legal country changes are respected
- Ensure country compliance for the finance department responsibilities
- Ensure accurate monthly close based on US GAAP and Stat GAAP
- Ensure good support to the Western Entities Finance & Payroll Manager on daily queries
- Ensure accurate financial reports to UK and US (as (but not limited to) income tax reporting, monthly and quarterly financial review within EMEA with other analysts)
- Ensure good cash flow position for Romania
- Internal reporting duties of cash flow actual and forecast, on a weekly basis
- Supervise the accounting activity for Romania and adjust accounting entries if needed Maintain good relation ship with the internal and external auditors
-Provide help to the authorities for the claims FSL might have
-Provide help to the Finance team worldwide – whenever the case might be
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- University graduate in Finance and Accounting areas.
- Accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment; 5+ years
- US GAAP knowledge (ACCA would be a plus);
- Good Romanian and English skills; French would be a plus;
- Knowledge of Romanian business environment (legal, operational, professional organizations)
- Good Excel skills
