Job description
• preparing the balance sheet
• preparing the financial statements and the declarations to the state institutions
• administrate the stocks
• verify the contracts with the suppliers
• assists with the fiscal year-end and fixed asset accounting
• prepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts;
• records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• uses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical packages, and graphics packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports
• payroll activities
Job requirements
• 2-3 years experience as an accountant in a medium-size enterprise
• Accounting University Degree
• Analytic and communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of the Romanian salary system – including calculation and reporting to the authorities
• Knowledge of accounting practices in Romania and extensive knowledge of reporting requirement to authorities
• Experienced user of Microsoft office in order to report to direct superiors on a monthly basis
• “Mature” in order to control the employees in the office and demand the proper documentation and answers
• Organized, able to prioritize
• Proactive
• Able to work well under stress
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent English skills are mandatory
