The successful candidate will manage accounting and financial responsibilities for Romania and will report to the Finance Entity Analyst. The specific areas of involvement will include:
- Book accounting entries
- Supervise accounting activity; ensure that all legal requirements are met
- Ensure monthly, semiannual and annual accounting close (statutory and US GAAP)
- Ensure financial support to local management (budget follow-up, cash flow)
- Monthly reporting duties (US GAAP accounting) to mother company
- Various financial reports for US GAAP (tax packages, functional analysis, business analysis, account analysis, accounts reconciliation between statutory accounting and US GAAP)
- Ensure support to all audit teams (internal and external)
- Ensure that company policies are met
- Ensure financial support and collaboration with other FSL entities
-Ensure support in all other Finance areas on the needs basis.
- University graduate in Finance and Accounting areas.
- 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
- US GAAP knowledge (ACCA would be a plus);
- Good Romanian and English skills; French would be a plus;
- Knowledge of Romanian business environment (legal, operational, professional organizations)
- Good Excel skills
- Very good communication skills
- Proactive attitude and desire/potential for fast learning
- Disciplined execution and very organized person.
